Due to demand, we are looking for another exceptional technician skilled in nails and brows to join our team who is talented, confident and super friendly. They must have an absolute passion for creating awesome nails and brows! They must also take great pride in providing an excellent customer experience, developing a great relationship with their clients and work well within a small team with a flexible, can-do attitude.

 

What you’ll do…

 

• Provide builder gel and gel polish manicures and pedicures using The Gel Bottle and efile system with or without simple nail art designs

• Provide brow and lash treatments in the Trends Signature way such as HD Brows, Brow Lamination; Hybrid precision tinting; Lash Lift and Tint or combinations of these treatments, facial hair removal using waxing or threading

• Recording all treatment notes and uploading to clients’ profiles each day

• Provide consultations and perform patch tests 

• Book appointments and process payments using our booking system

• Answer calls and regularly check/answer queries via all social media channels, email and website chat

• Assist with monitoring stock levels, preparing stock orders, receiving and putting stock away and updating stock inventory etc

• General salon cleaning including but not limited to personal workstation, retail displays, reception area etc, 

• Monitor online bookings and checking correct treatments have been booked, appointments have been confirmed, consultation forms are completed, relevant patch tests have been carried out etc

• Take before and after photos and videos to provide content for the salons’ various social media platforms

• Posting work related material on the salon’s social media accounts

• Assist with our LookFantastic affiliation account and create posts for social media

• Other ad hoc duties

 

What you’ll need…

 

NVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapy or equivalent recognised qualifications in:

 

• Gel Polish Manicures & Pedicures

• Builder Gel + E-file (preferable)

• Officially HD Brows trained or equivalent recognised qualification in brow tinting, waxing & threading

• Brow Lamination 

• Lash Lift + Tint

 

Skills that would be advantageous but not necessary…

 

• Builder Gel + e-file 

 

The position could suit an independent nail/brow artist looking to be part of a friendly, specialist team within a salon environment or perhaps an experienced beauty therapist with a particular flair for nails & brows who’d like a more specialised role.

 

The ideal person must have a minimum of 2 years experience in these treatments and preferably in a salon environment with a specialism in nails & brows preferred, but training will be available for the right person.
